Dog Friendly Cruises - take your dog with you

You want to take a vacation cruise, but there’s something holding you back. Your dog. You can’t face the idea of leaving him in a kennel with strangers and strange dogs.

Due to this concern, there are now some cruises that are turning dog friendly, making it easier for you and your dog to be accommodated during a cruise.

Unfortunately, most of the commercial cruise lines won’t accept dogs, however one cruise line does: Cunard’s QE2. From the site: “The QE2 will continue to accept dogs in the kennel onboard for any transatlantic crossing it may have with the exception of the first or last leg of the world cruise.”

There’s an alternative to commercial cruises: a charter cruise. Since you’re chartering the boat, you can take your dog. Yes, it’s expensive, but with a group of friends and their dogs, the cost becomes much more reasonable.
