A Grand Canyon Vacation

Though a Grand Canyon vacation is not like going to Mexico, have your own water bottles handy because becoming dehydrated is very common.

It pays to be alert about possible danger from wild animals especially if you are planning to spend more than a couple of hours in the park. There is plenty of wildlife to view and you can see squirrels, deer and much more, though being alert is recommended as you never know which animal crosses your path.

You’ll enjoy spectacular scenery, including Mohave Point and Rim Trail: walking is still the best option if you want to see the outstanding scenery and a trip to Ooh Aah Point is highly recommended.

Try something different and visit the Navajo reservation for the tasty meals. You can pick up a number of souvenirs like posters, toys and books that deal with the Grand Canyon.

Respect the Grand Canyon, and its rather fragile ecosystem.
